Spotlight: Project Air

Deirdre is doing an amazing thing; feet on the ground teaching yoga in Rwanda. Ten years after the genocide the scars and issues are deep-rooted, but Project Air is there providing yoga, one meal and hope to as many people as they can.

Thank you so very much for your generosity. It was such a kind and lovely thing to do to extend yourselves for us and, to us, it is a real blessing. To give you an idea of how very much of a blessing it is, in fact, here are just few of the people it will soon touch in a very real way and how it will help them.

Everyone in the pictures – and in our programme – is, of course, HIV+.   Everyone is, in the parlance, a “sexual or domestic violence survivor,” or an orphan. Everyone is, in some significant way, traumatised. Everyone is dirt poor.
I will keep you posted on the contribution your open-hearted gift has made to our programme. Until then, I wish you all the best and bow my head in respect.

With great gratitude and my heartfelt appreciation,
Deirdre
